Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Orthopedics

Physical Therapy Specialists is a therapist-owned private practice serving Central Florida. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Davenport, Florida.

Our clinic treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, post-operative patients, balance disorders, sports injuries, and active adults. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment where therapists are valued and have direct access to ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Progress therapeutic exercise programs
• Perform therapeutic activities and functional training
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, physicians, and staff
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing exceptional patient care
   
   

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Florida PTA license or eligibility for licensure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
