General Surgery PA or NP - Florida Locums, No Call

This inpatient-only surgical assist assignment in Florida offers long-term potential with no clinic and no call.

Highlights

• No call, no clinic, inpatient and OR only
• Monday-Friday 8a-5p, ongoing schedule
• Option to split coverage between 2 providers
• Located near the Atlantic Coast, warm weather year-round

Practice Setting

• Work at one of three nearby community hospitals; no bouncing between sites during the week
• Support a single surgeon with floor rounds and procedures
• Bread and butter general surgery with opportunity for robotic cases
• EPIC EMR

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
• Long-term assignment, starts this winter
• No weekend shifts, no call, and no clinic
• Potential for half-day clinic after 6+ months

Cases and Procedures

• First Assist for general surgery cases
• Robotic experience preferred but not required
• Supporting MD with post-op rounds, consults, and floor work

Requirements

• Board Certified PA or NP with First Assist
• Florida license required

Travel Accommodations

• Travel covered for non-local providers if needed
• Mileage, lodging, rental car, and airfare all billable
• Local Florida-based APPs will be prioritized
